vibeam ("we", "our", "us") operates the website vibeam.dev and provides software development services on a subscription basis. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

  • Email address when you submit a project prompt through our form.
  • Project descriptions that you write in our prompt box. These are sent to our AI service provider to generate previews and proposals.
  • Payment information when you subscribe to our service. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • Calendar booking information when you schedule a call through Cal.com, including your name, email, and selected time slot.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics via PostHog, including page views, button clicks, session duration, and browser/device information. We use this to understand how visitors interact with our site.
  • IP address for rate limiting purposes. We do not use IP addresses for tracking or profiling.
  • Theme preference (dark/light mode) stored locally in your browser via localStorage. This never leaves your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate AI-powered project previews and proposals based on your prompt.
  • To send you your preview link and proposal via email.
  • To notify our team of new project inquiries so we can follow up.
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.
  • To prevent abuse of our services through rate limiting.
  • To improve our website and services through anonymized analytics.
  • To communicate with you about your projects and our services.

4. Third-Party Services

We share your information with the following third-party service providers, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI)— Your project descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API to generate previews and proposals. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
  • Resend — Your email address and proposal content are processed through Resend to deliver emails to you.
  • PostHog — Anonymized usage analytics are collected and processed by PostHog.
  • Stripe — Payment information is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.
  • Cal.com — Booking information is processed by Cal.com when you schedule a call.
  • Upstash — Generated previews are temporarily stored in Upstash Redis (encrypted at rest) and automatically deleted after 30 days.

5. Data Retention

  • Project previews are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Email addresses and project inquiries are retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and communicate with you.
  • Analytics datais retained according to PostHog's data retention policies.
  • Payment recordsare retained as required by law and Stripe's policies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Portability — Request a machine-readable copy of your data.
  • Objection — Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
  • Withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use traditional cookies. We use localStorage to store your theme preference (dark/light mode), which never leaves your device. PostHog may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics purposes. You can opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

8. AI-Generated Content

When you submit a project description, it is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate a preview mockup and proposal. Your input is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. We do not use your project descriptions to train AI models. Anthropic's data processing policies apply to content sent through their API.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage for previews (Upstash Redis encryption at rest), and access controls on all third-party service accounts. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
